Donate Your Car To Someone Who Needs It With Donate a Car 2 Charity

donateacar2charityI write a lot about donating groceries, school supplies and bathroom necessities on this blog, but what about trying to donate car? It can be a good option if you’re looking for an easy way to get rid of a vehicle while helping someone else out at the same time. Check out Donate A Car 2 Charity. It’s a great and hassle free way to give your car to someone who needs it. Here are a few benefits for using DonateaCar2Charity.com for getting rid of your unwanted car:

1. They’ll pick it up and often within 24 hours.

2. It’s a free service, including towing your car away if necessary.

3. They’ll evaluate your car so you know what kind of a tax deduction you can get.

4. They promise excellent service.

5. All proceeds benefit Christian charity Activated Ministries, an organization dedicated to helping those in need, sharing God’s Word with others through the distribution of Christian outreach materials and providing support to missionaries of the gospel.

To get started with Donate A Car 2 Charity all you need to do is fill out this online form, then someone will follow up with you shortly to set up arrangements for your car donation. You will receive a reference number so you can track the process online. When it comes to the tax benefits, if your car is worth more than $500, you’ll receive a receipt once your vehicle is sold, showing the amount that it was sold for. You can then write off that entire amount on your taxes. If your car is worth less than $500, then you can simply claim the value of your car up to $500. For more information on the tax benefits of donating a car to charity, check out this information from the IRS.

One of the amazing things about DonateaCar2Charity.com is that they will accept vehicles donations regardless of whether the car runs. The only exception to this would be cars that are worth less than the cost of towing them. But if you’ve got a car sitting in your garage or driveway that you want to get rid of quickly, why not give it to someone who will do something positive with it? Vehicle donations are a great way to do more with your money.

Help Feed the Hungry with Kraft Mac and Cheese

kraft_macaroni_and_cheese_spiralsKraft Mac and Cheese was a childhood staple in my family and I’m a little embarassed to say I still enjoy it once in a while for lunch. Check out Kraft’s website for the Share a Little Comfort campaign. Just by clicking on a link you can donate a box of Mac and Cheese to Feeding America. They’re trying to get to a million boxes. While you’re at it, print off a couple of coupons. I used the “Buy 3 Get 1 Free” coupon this week at Publix. Mac and Cheese is on sale there, buy 1 get 1 free which means I got four boxes for about $.40 each. That’s not a bad price for a lunch. Plus I helped feed someone else.

Get Free Dog Food Plus Help a Local Charity

puppyThis week at Publix, Purina Beneful is on sale, buy one get one free. Of course around here that means the price is actually half off, bringing the cost of a bag of dog food down to about $2.75. Fill out a short survey at GiveABowl.com and you’ll get to print a coupon for $3.50 off that bag of Beneful, which means you’ll make $.75 on the deal. Not only that, but you’ll get to choose a local charity in which to make a donation once that coupon is redeemed. That animal welfare organization will only receive a $1 donation from Purina if you redeem your coupon. I’ll be donating my bag as well which means even more homeless puppies and dogs will have something to eat!

Church Collects $19 Million Over Four Services

pupitre d'egliseI’ve heard it said many times that it is almost unimaginable what the church could accomplish if everyone tithed 10 percent like the Bible commands. I know giving is down at our church, which is why  this story is even more powerful! Late last month a church of 22000 people collected $19 million over a span of four weekly services! That equals out to nearly $900 a person!

What’s even more amazing is where this church is. No– it’s not
an American mega-church. It’s a church in Singapore! New Creation Church holds services in the Rock Auditorium in Suntec City Mall and will now build a new church in the city’s Buona Vista area. Now, what can God do in your church?
