My fridge is stocked with Sobe water. I’ve got close to a dozen different flavors of the refreshing drink and the best part is that I got it all for free. The 20 ounce bottles of Sobe are on sale, buy one get one free, at CVS. You can easily get your hands on buy one get one free coupons by playing the Sobe heads or tails game online. I’ve won lots of coupons and I had my husband play too so we could get even more coupons. When you combine the sale with each coupon you’ll get two bottles free! Regular price a bottle of Sobe will set you back about $1.50 so that’s a great easy deal… especially for summer!

Don't say that a penny doesn't buy you anything!

I always seem to see pennies lying on the ground, and if I didn’t worry about what kind of germs they might be harboring I might just pick them up because now I know a penny really can buy you something! Head to Staples this week to buy school glue for just a penny. Each customer is allowed to buy two bottles at a time. While we were there we picked up some other deals that were just a quarter and we’ll be donating it all to local school supply drives. Have fun!

Here’s an easy deal for Bengay Pain Relief + Massage. Head to Walgreens with this printable coupon for $5 off any Bengay product. You should be able to print two. These are on sale for $4.99 at Walgreens which means you should be able to get them for free. You may need to purchase a filler item like a piece of candy since the coupon value is actually greater than the product price.

It’s time to stock up on pain reliever! The title of this post isn’t actually accurate because this Ecotrin is better than free. You can actually make $2 on each bottle of it at Walgreens this week. Print off these $2 off coupons for Ecotrin.  You should be able to print it twice. I had three $2 off coupons and the bottles of Ecotrin are on sale for $2 at Walgreens. Plus when you buy them you’ll get $2 in Register Rewards. I had to pay $.12 in tax for each transaction. Make sure you ring them up separately because otherwise you won’t get all of your Register Rewards! I plan to donate mine because I already have plenty of free pain reliever from past transactions. You should have enough free pain reliever to take care of all of your headaches this summer.

That's Almost $30 Worth of Old Spice!

I hit Walgreens to pick up my Sunday paper and scored almost $30 worth of free Old Spice products. I used three coupons from the 5/2 PG insert to make this awesome deal happen. This week Old Spice body wash is on sale for $4.49 and you’ll get $4.50 in Register Rewards when you buy one. I used two buy one get one free coupons to get four free bottles. Then I used another coupon that gave me a free deodorant when I bought another Old Spice body wash. I had to ring this up in three different transactions and I ended up with five free body washes and one free deodorant worth nearly $30! I’ll be donating some of this, and the rest should keep my husband stocked up for a while.

I hear lots of people say they don’t have time to use coupons. Here’s a deal that took me about two minutes to line up. Just head to SoftScrub.com to sign up for their email list. You’ll get an email containing a link to confirm your registration. Then go back to the website and click on “Special Offers.” You’ll see a Buy One Get one Free Scrubbing Bubbles coupon. Print this twice! Then head to Walgreens where Scrubbing Bubbles is on sale, buy one get one free this week. With very little work you will get four free bottles of Soft Scrub. That’s $15.96 worth of cleaning supplies for FREE. While I was at Walgreens I also picked up a can of EOS moisturizing shave cream for @2.99 and got $2.99 back in Register Rewards, making it free as well. Not bad for a few minutes of work!

Head to Publix for a great deal on dog food. Don’t have a pet? Donate it to your local animal shelter. Purina One is on sale for $5 for a four pound bag. Head to the Publix website and print out store coupons that will take an extra $3 off each bag. That means you’ll pay just $.50 a pound for dog food. There are lots of flavors to choose from so your doggie won’t get bored. I know I’ll be stocking up!

I scored a bag full of baby food for pennies at Publix. Beech-Nut Stage 2 baby food is on sale, buy one get one free bringing the price down to just $.26 a jar. But I also used these coupons:

* $2/20 printable

* My husband and I both signed up for the Beech-Nut e-newsletter so we could get $1/3 Beech-Nut coupons. They show up in your inbox after you sign up. We each were able to print two.

The coupons we received for signing up for the e-newsletter actually made this a money-maker, but it was such a good price I wanted to take the opportunity to buy more for charity. So I ended up getting 32 jars for $2.32, which equals about $.07 a jar on baby food that would have cost $16.96 had it not been on sale. That’s a savings of about 84%!

Free and Cute Magazine Storage

Since I’m a freelance writer I subscribe to a lot of magazines. And I buy quite a few, too. The two magazine holders I had in my office were stuffed to capacity and magazines were starting to pile up. I needed additional storage because I like to have a variety of issues on hand for inspiration or to reference.

I had a large flat rate box from the Post Office sitting around because I had written the wrong address on it. I used a box cutter to cut one end off so that it was a great size for holding magazines upright. Then I painted it with a few coats of chalkboard paint and soon I had a new, free way to store issues of Redbook, one of my faves! Don’t you just love chalkboard paint?
