$20 Worth of Products Free at Walgreens

walgreens free stuffI just stopped in quickly at Walgreens and picked up $20 worth of products completely free. The Organix shampoo and conditioner is on sale, by one get one free. Plus, I found “Try Me Free” rebate forms on certain bottles. That means I paid $6.99 for two bottles today, but will be receiving $6.99 back. I also picked up two tubes of Aquafresh which is on sale for $3, but you will get $3 in register rewards. Combine that with these $1 off coupons and I actually walked away with $20 in free stuff, plus $2 extra dollars! Cool, huh?

Crest Moneymaker at CVS

crest-moneymakerA few weeks ago I filled out a form I spotted at CVS offering Crest Pro Health for free. I had to send the form in along with a receipt that showed I purchased a tube of Crest Pro Health and in exchange they sent me a coupon good for a free tube. This week is a great time to cash those in because when you buy Crest Pro Health you’ll receive $2 in Extra Care Bucks. I’ll be donating my moneymaking Crest to a local homeless shelter.

Make Money at Walgreens Buying Items for Charity

I actually made about $4 on this "purchase"

I actually made about $4 on this "purchase"

Here’s what I picked up at Walgreens this week for charity. The body wash and toothpaste work out to be free because you get Register Rewards equal to what you pay for them. The Ecotrin is actually a $2.25 money maker when you print off these coupons. It’s on sale for $2.25 each and you’ll get $2 in Register Rewards. The soup is on sale for just $.59 each when you use the in-ad coupon. Plus I had a coupon for $1 off two cans of soup which made them just $.09 each!

Crest Toothpaste is FREE (Or Super Cheap!)

Crest Pro-Health

Crest Pro-Health

Here is a great deal that would be good for you– or for your local homeless shelter, women’s shelter or non-profit. Head to CVS for free Crest Pro-Health toothpaste. The toothpaste is on sale for $2.99 this week at CVS. When you purchase it you’ll receive $2 in Extra Care Bucks. Plus you can get a coupon at Crest.com to receive $1 off your purchase. If you receive your coupon in time that makes the toothpaste free! OR if you are a coupon clipper, you may also have a $.75 or $.50 off coupon in your collection from the Sunday paper. That means you will get the toothpaste for just $.25 or $.50 which still makes it a great deal.

Do More With Your Freebies

Stuff I Recently Picked up for Free

Stuff I Recently Picked up for Free

There’s nothing better than walking up to the cash register, handing over your coupons and walking out with free products! This week I took advantage of a deal that gave you $10 in register rewards at Walgreens with the purchase of eight bars of Dove soap, on sale for $.99 a bar. I also bought tubes of toothpaste on sale for $3.29 that provided $3.50 in register rewards. That means I got lots of stuff completely free! (and actually MADE money through the purchase!) What did I do with all of that soap and toothpaste? I kept a few bars for my husband and I but I ended up donating the rest– 24 bars of soap, three tubes of toothpaste, two toothbrushes (I got those for free during Kmart’s double coupon days a little while back) and a toenail clipper I got for free at Publix. If I had paid regular price for those things it would have cost over $50!

My husband and I dropped the stuff off at the Miracle Hill drop box in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. I’m not telling you this to toot my own horn about making a donation, I’m telling you with hopes you’ll do the same!! Do you ever see a great deal but think, I really don’t need that? Well, maybe there’s somebody else out there that does! I’ll be letting you know of great deals that could be good for donating to your local shelter, but if you come across any let me know! Think of all the people you’ll be helping!

It’s no secret that non-profit organizations are struggling– just like the rest of us. But there are ways we can help without spending much money at all. That’s how you can do more with your freebies.
